Every muscle in my body hurt. It was hard to breathe. I was cold, wet, and bleeding laying face down in the dirt. I couldn't stand up because of the barbed wire running across my back. My elbows were cut from the gravel I'd been crawling through for what felt like eternity. The inside of my mouth was chalky and I could feel the grit of dirt between my teeth that had been kicked in my face my the person in front of me. "I can't do this anymore".

It’s finally over! The year everyone wishes to forget. 2020 was a year that toyed with our emotions and played out like a Hollywood disaster movie. We saw the world on fire, giant insects, political insanity, and a virus that took away everything we hold dear. Honestly the only thing left were the zombies, nuclear winter, or moon Nazi’s. More than all of that, what stood out to me about 2020 was how quickly we let it defeat us.
